Mattie Bell Heggie departed this life on Sunday, January 1, 2023.

Funeral Service:  12:00PM, Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Holly Springs United Church of Christ, 116 Third Street, Holly Springs with a visitation preceding the service from 11:00AM-12:00PM.  Interment will be at Prince Cemetery in Holly Springs.

Survivors:  Daughters, Cornelia Heggie and Michelle Heggie of Fuquay-Varina; Son, Leroy Heggie III (Sarah) of Raleigh; Sisters, Ada Mae Scott (Raymond) of Apex and Savannah Marie Robinson of Raleigh; Grandsons, Demetrius Heggie, Frashawn Heggie, Michael D. Heggie, Isaiah Heggie, Xavier Heggie; Great Grandson, Aidan Harrell; Granddaughters, Taj Harrell and Zaeda Heggie; Great Granddaughter, Charisma Heggie; Two Uncles, Three Aunts, Three Godchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
